I Drew A Comic (Kinda Mature)

Yeah, Stan. That probably isn't how you want to act in front of a sexual harassment lawyer. Unless you have some sort of plan...

It's IMPOSSIBLE. don't even try

Don't even trip son, you'll never catch those 2.

As the most observant of you may have noticed, there's a project to translate Pokemon black and white running around, the translation is still on it's early stages but most key things have been translated (items, attacks, pokemons, menus).

Tons of character dialogue hasn't though, which still means you'll b a lil lost if u don't speak moon language. Project page can b found here.

Halloween Chibis

Halloween's not here yet, but I figured I'd do one in advance just in case I forgot again... like last year. :3

Takin' You For A Ride

Well this isn't quite done yet, but I figured I'd post it to, erm, keep entertaining the people that come here just to look at my crap. Even if they don't actually exist. I'll try to keep working on this when I have free time between the impossible tasks I take upon myself. Chances of me giving up and losing interest? High, as per usual.

Given the fact that I really like all these characters, I'm willing to bet Capcom will go out of their way to make them horrible to play as. Felicia's apparently already completely worthless.

Party Pooper

Chibi's initial characterization in ShinDig! is the stuck-up, loud-mouthed, unpleasably irritating extra baggage character. She hardly does anything of worth, is almost perpetually in a bad mood, and will complain about anything, and never personally do anything to fix it. As such, this is the expression she normally bears, whilst complaining about how much her feet hurt or how hungry she is. Or how full of himself Shin is acting.

Chibi isn't as crabby as she tries to act, though. She's not as attatched to that flashy jewelry as you'd think, and she's very knowledgable about other cultures ... for a demon, anyway. She also happens to be genuinely enamoured by Shin's sleight of hand skills. Perhaps she doesn't really hate him...

Everyone Knows It's Muffy

Well, since I'm probably not gonna finish this anymore, I figured I might as well post this. It's amazing how whenever I'm actually in a good mood, the universe goes out of it's way to make sure my drive goes away real fast.

Anyways, it's my take on Miss Muffet. She has ridiculous, illogical anime hair and Mickey Mouse gloves. That's about it. Peace, I'm out.

Minecraft and Pokemans

I had no idea and i was just told about it, but Minecraft's server had a few issues so the creator decided to make it free for the weekend or until he fixed it. Played it with a friend for about an hour. There might still b a day left for people to try it if you're interested.

Also you might have heard that Pokemon white n' black's rom leaked, was patched to remove piracy protection and people are enjoying the crap out of it already.

2 of the pokemans i didn't violently hate.

Sites like Serebii.net received a "cease and desist" from nintendo to remove the images of the pokemons from the new game that they had up, which makes no fucking sense cause the game is out in japan isn't it? i dunno what's the reasoning being that.

As serebii twitted:

Serebii.net hit by Nintendo Cease & Desist Letter. All Black & White Images had to be removed http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml for more

Anyway, if anyone's intrested, here's the new pokemon list:

I tried the new game, and have mixed feelings about it. something feels really gloomy about it, hard to explain. In general i dislike a lot of the new Pokemon designs, I tend to prefer the older ones still.

I find it funny that some people think that they're smarter than others and bring out the "nostalgia factor" as the main reason a lot of people prefer the older Pokemon as if no one else would realize that. Saying the new designs are still good, but nostalgia entirely influences our opinions.

There IS a nostalgia factor, but that's because there was a reason to, some of the earlier designs were really neat. A lot of the new designs are fucking horrible and either look like mechs or digimons. I could b wrong, but i was told that the people involve in the newer designs aren't the same.

Does nostalgia account for that too smartasses?

When i saw the Pokemon that wears a motherfucking karate Gi i almost threw the controller away. There's a fucking pigeon in the list for fuck's sake, it looks just like a regular pigeon, i can't get over it.

Edit:

Clean list of all pokemons including new ones, but no number or names:

Battlefield Heroes: Free BPs

I tried out battlefield heroes a long ass back, it's a free game, but there's weapons that u can only get with battle points, which required actual money to have.

However, recently EA decided that if you subscribe to the EA gunclub that you could claim 700 BPs, which is enough to buy around 3 of the other weapons permanently, making it fair on everyone regardless if u spent money on the game or not.

A stylish MG

In the case of my own character, i could afford 2 machine guns and a RPG, which the choice of 1 of the MGs or the RPG being "stylish" (meaning it looks nicer, nothing else)

A stylish RPG

If you ever thought the game was interesting or used to play it, claim some battlepoints, buy the "pay only" weapons (carefully though) and have fun.

The most stereotypical thug in Hokuto no Ken

I was watching one of the newer movies, and i wanted to share something with everyone:

Charlie the Thug - "Gets killed for a living"

My claim is that this one guy is the most generic Hokuto no Ken thug there has ever been.

He's perfect in every way:

homoerotic "armor", the asshole grin, annoyingly gay laugh, riding a bike into defenseless people, entire scene panning through him without him moving a muscle, and you can even feel how dead he's gonna be in a few seconds.

I love this guy.

Holy Crap Here's Some Stuff

Whoa, hey! Look at this stuff! Where did it come from? Who am I ripping off? Is there an original bone in my body? What's the deal with my obsession with Vegeta's (awesome) pink shirt? NOBODY KNOWS.

L4D: The Sacrifice DLC... something?

I seem to go into these long mood swings where updating the blog is the last thing on my mind. Trying to get back on the groove of things though.

It's really hard for me to care about what the L4D team at Valve does, they often come up as the laziest and most incompetent section of Valve.

Louis realizes that things can b picked up and used to attack zombies, a sort of melee weapon if you will.

Besides that 1 tiny DLC they made for L4D1 and the other one for L4D2, all their support for the games has been blabbing on their blog, each week for 21 weeks, about how there's a new (or not so new) mutation ingame now.

Some of those mutations sound ok, but most are uninteresting. for example, week 20 was "hard 8" which means the game spawns twice as much special infected and twice as fast. It really ought to b called "hard 16" to reflect the insane difficulty leap that mode actually reflects on the game. Me, Zach and our friend Shigoto took like an hour and repeated deaths to do 2 maps in a campaign, to the point that, once in the 2nd safe room, we thought the rescue was next.

In contrast to the impossible difficulty of week 20, week 19 was way too easy: "Gib fest". everyone spawns with M16s and have unlimited ammo. What idiot thinks these mutation? there's no balance in them whatsoever.

Bill, who was sleeping in his cardboard box, is awoken by what he believes to b "those damn vietcongs!"

Anyway, here's the big announcement on the L4D blog:

They're announcing that the comic about the "The Sacrifice" DLC that they mentioned months ago is going to start on the 14th.

Rolls off the tongue doesn't it? Although I'm not expecting much, they posted some neat art on their blog entry which i gotta admit is pretty cool.

Other than that, I tried some of the free steam games, i'll try to write a short summary of what i thought in a future post, and i've been messing around with minecraft a lot. that lil game is oddly addicting. Also been trying out Blazblue more seriously and let's just say I'm... surprised.

"Djinn De Ventus"

Today is my character Debbie's anniversary, Zach doodled this for the occasion.

I should b mad cause no one doodled anything last week on my persona's anniversary, but this is awesome enough to let it slide.

For those unfamiliar with the character, everyone in the picture is Debbie or part of her.

I imagine Zach might clean up, tweak and possibly color this later on. One can only hope.

Thanks tons Zach.

Can't Touch Me!

It seems that in my current funk I neglected to brag about how Viewtiful Joe got into Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. "But Zach! We've known about it since Comic-Con! It's nothing new!" you say. I know, I know. But the situation holds a special meaning to me, since, many years ago, when I played VJ1 and 2 a lot, and was in the process of drawing every major character and villain from the games, I mused about how awesome it'd be if Joe was in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Then Capcom lost the Marvel liscence, and another dream died.

...Except it didn't. Years passed. Capcom closed Clover, probably because their ambitious and unique games didn't sell as well as a cash-in Megaman game would. They ended Joe's trilogy before it could be wrapped up. I'll never know what the secret was behind the Black Film and Black V Watch. I've vehemently ticked off about this. By all means, I should boycott this game for using Joe cause I know they're just teasing me and really just rubbing it in that they still own the character. But Capcom got the Marvel licenseback, and Viewtiful Joe is in MvC3... JUST LIKE I WANTED TO HAPPEN.

Lets talk about my gripes, though. Like the gripes I have with posting, because it keeps screwing up the layout for some stupid reason. Did I ever mention how much I hate computers? They put in a button to align to center and it botches up the html and destroys two paragraphs. REALLY NOW.

Gripes. I got 'em. It's understandable, since I give a crap about the character. Capcom made his head a touch too big (it's a hell of a lot better looking than that Megaman Universe crap, though. I'm sure the fans' heads are to far up Capcom's ass to care) , and I have no idea why. He was proportioned okay in TvC. Maybe it's just an effort to draw attention to his face, which they actually bothered to animate, surprisingly (and Joe's face is usually adorned with an absolutely smug-ass grin or his tongue is flailing out. Makes me happeh) .

And the voice. I'm pissed Capcom didn't care enough to get Dee Baker to reprise the role ... Apparently they didn't even call him about it ... But I'm okay with it. It's not what I wanted, yeah, but it could be worse. At least it's in ENGLISH and it not surfer/Shaggy Tentomon. I guess I'm to the point I'm let down so often i'll take whatever I can get. Is that sad?

Oh yeah. Kinda feel bad that this post didn't contain anything I did myself. So have this kinda failed pic of Joe thrusting his pelvis at his enemies, destroying them with his awesomeness. I'm probably never gonna finish it anyways. ^^*

I need to go find more stuff to rant about that I'm excited for and everyone I associate with hates with an intense fiery passion or could care less about. It's fun being the odd man out all the time. :)

The Hero of Something Not Yet Specified

So a ways back I did this picture of my own take on Link. I'm sure it strays a bit too far from the more familiar design for fans to accept it; in fact I'm sure it'd rouse up a mountain of those "ruined forever" messages just because I gave him some beardage. But this really wasn't about the fans. It was about having fun, trying your own take on a beloved franchise, while remaining familiar enough that you'd still recognize it. Also I wanted to draw a chubby little fairy companion for him that everyone would absolutely hate and still find them adorable. You know, like Midna.

Teaching: Part Three

Children in the United States all have to go through the embarrassing day known as School Photo Day.While parents think it's all cute and great, the real reason they do it is because they want to torture them for shits and giggle. That's right we torture the poor souls because it is funny. Parents are not the only ones responsible for making this horrendous day bad. It's also people who believe that all staff members should take a picture when you clearly do not want to.

Yes I will put up with doing one or two photos with my grade level and with the children because when they look back in their yearbook I want them to see me and say "Oh yea I remember him, he was a cool teacher, I learned a lot from him."

Wishful thinking right?

Anyway, one of the students I see around the school use to have normal looking hair. Surprisingly on the day of the photo, the mother of this child thought that he should have a Mohawk. And not only is her child sporting a Mohawk, she decided it would be "cool" if his hair was a nice forest green color too. Poor kid.

His story was not the only bad one that day. We had children who wore clothes that I just could help but laugh hard on the inside. I really wanted to just bust out laugh at their outfits, but as a teacher I had to show a neutral face. And if you have ever tried to hide your laugh before, you know it's very difficult. It's hard being a teacher when funny shit happens.
